Push On Fasteners for Round Shafts

Generally available in spring steel and many in stainless steel, our push on fasteners are for use where a quick, permanent and efficient means of assembly is required to retain plain shafts of steel, non-ferrous and plastic materials*.

Standard uncapped fasteners can be supplied in the following Chrome 6 free finishes.

Blue and varnish finish for imperial sizes (BV Finish)
Bronze and varnish finish for metric sizes (BV Finish)
Mechanical zinc tin plate & clear trivalent passivation (DT Finish)

The majority of our Starlock push on fastener range can be supplied assembled with a cap to conceal the fixing and enhancing the appearance.

A variety of cap styles and materials are available which are indicated in the table below:- Stainless Steel (S) - Aluminium (K) - Zinc Plated Mild Steel (A) - Nylon (N)

For the outside diameter of cap dimension E, depth of penetration of shaft into cap dimension F, and height G, reference should be made to the tables for dome caps, axle caps, deep axle caps and nylon caps.
